The HighPotentialsSociety was founded in 2002 by Dr. Max Tiefenbacher. The central idea was creating a forum for intellectually highly talented people. Only entrance criteria is an intelligence quotient (IQ) which corresponds to the 98th percentile (IQ of at least 132 at a scale with a mean average value of 100 and a standard deviation of 16).



This forum shall make possible an exchange of ideas, knowledge, projects etc. at an international level. At the moment the HighPotentialsSociety has over 420 members from over 35 nations. The exchange finds place in different forums, e-mail lists and the magazine “InsideOut”. The membership is free.
